Barbara Walters Behavior On The View Was Some Of The Craziest Sh** Jenny McCarthy Has Seen

Jenny McCarthy has some strong feelings about her former View co-star Barbara Walters. McCarthy was interviewed for a scathing tell-all about her time on the show and revealed that Walters’ behavior was some of the “craziest sh**” she has ever seen.

McCarthy’s comments are part of Ramin Setoodeh’s book, Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View. In her portion of the tell-all, McCarthy blasted Walters for treating her poorly when she joined the talk show in 2013. The actress was a part of the series from 2013 to 2014 and revealed that she immediately got off on the wrong foot with Walters.

McCarthy claims that her beef with Walters started during her original appearance on the show in 2007. Walters apparently took issue with McCarthy’s controversial thoughts on autism and the two got into a shouting match behind closed doors. Their fight was so intense that McCarthy told herself that she would never appear on the show again.

In 2012, McCarthy opted to give The View another try and sat down with Walters to promote her book, Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic. Walters apparently had zero recollection of what had transpired a few years prior and was extremely nice to McCarthy both on and off the show.

“She was hugging me, loving on me. I was like, ‘This is the craziest f***ing s**t I’ve ever experienced in my life,” McCarthy explained.

This is not the only time McCarthy has opened up about Walters’ behavior. According to Entertainment Tonight, McCarthy previously claimed that Walters asked her to act more conservative on the show so that they could have a different view point. She made the comments during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
