Anima raises over $700 for charity

On the 19th of February, YouTuber Anima, a.k.a AnimaGaming, raised over $700 for the charity Child’s Play. Child’s Play is a charity which donates toys and games to children’s hospitals worldwide. Anima’s original goal was to raise $500 within six hours of streaming on Twitch, saying that she will match every donation given up to $200. Watch her video about the stream here.

The gamer streamed the hit game The Walking Dead for over five hours on Twitch that day. With laughs, tears and pure emotion the stream was a great mix of emotions due to achievements and the game. Within three hours or her streaming, Anima had reached her goal of $500 and had time to talk about the charity and have a mini celebration for it.

By the end of the stream a total of over $700, including matches, was raised for an amazing cause. We are proud of Anima for using her rapidly growing platform to raise awareness and money for great charities such as Child’s Play whilst having fun and entertaining hundreds of people at the same time!
